Water Water Everywhere

You know how experts say that you should drink eight 8 oz. glasses of water (That's EIGHT 8 on purpose) a day? Well, for the last two days I have been doing it...eeya...

I got this 30 oz. container from the hospital when I had Joshua (I actually have two, but I think one is at Mom and Dad's house) and I have been using it to help me drink lots of fluids. I don't know why a normal glass isn't good enough...perhaps it's because when I have to drink from the 30 oz. container it seems like a contest with myself to see how much of it I can drink at a time. Drinking from an 8 oz. glass just doesn't give the same satisfaction.

Along with having to take frequent (every 20 minutes) trips (more like dead runs) to the little girl's room, my body has been trying to expel the the excess water in any way it can.

So, every night, I crawl in bed, say prayers and read scriptures with Jeremy, turn off the lights, and cry. CRY CRY CRY.

Jeremy: "What's the matter?"
Dara: "I d-d-d-on't k-n-o-o-o-w..."
More crying.

Jeremy: "Is there anything I can do?"
Dara: "N-o-o-o-o..."

More crying.

Jeremy: "Um, Dara..?"
Sobbing.
Dara: "Wh-a-a-t?"
Jeremy: "There is a HUGE puddle in the bed...do you think you could stop, or get a towel or something? It's soaking into my pillow."
Dara: "You are so insensitive!"
More crying.

The next day I am completely fine. It's like the Kreb's cycle of the human body.
Maybe I should have Jeremy ring me out before we go to bed.

"Uh-oh, she's gonna blow! Quick grab her!"
T W I S T SPLASH!

"Ah, much better!"

The FDA should really warn people about the side effects of drinking water. The caution should read something like this:

WARNING:
CONSUMING LARGE QUANTITIES OF WATER COULD LEAD TO EXCESSIVE CRYING, PIDDLING, PUCKERED SKIN, INSOMNIA, BED-WETTING, HYDRATION, HEALTH, SPONTANEOUS PUDDLING, SALT ALLERGIES, AND TICKS. CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE USE.

I definitely sympathize. My recent trouble with random contractions has had me drinking lots more water than I'm used to... Though, in the height of water consumption on my part, I'm prancing to the bathroom about every 10 minutes...

"Prancing"?? ...in YOUR condition, Pemily????

As for the crying....it's stress. It's always stress when there's "no reason." Maybe your stress sensors have picked up an anomaly in the space-time continuum...or an "event horizon"... LOL

At least you cry in private. I was at yoga today, trying to feel at peace with myself and the universe, when I starting thinking too much about my universe, and my eyes started "watering" excessively. Luckily I was in the dark . . . I think you should go to yoga with me . . . then we could "water" together. :D

Awwww, Jenny... :( I would like to go to yoga with you, but I have had some bad experiences with the fitness center day care... Maybe they have new staff?? Well, you are probably right, Mom...I don't know exactly what I am stressed about. Therearesomanythingstobestressedaboutthatitmakesitdifficulttodecidewhatitisexactly...

This must be a girl thing. If I drink water after six o'clock at night I have to get up every two hours. If I don't drink any water after 6:00pm I only have to get up four times during the night.

banth: what happens if I don't get up when nature calls.

drinking water is good... crying is good...

I understand stress - 11,032 W2's needed to be sorted and sent out to 329 stores via fedex and then the remainder had to be mailed before the 31st - long story short - long hours - many errors - very sad days - :)

Now we are taking calls from ee's stating that their W2's are wrong.... NO THEY ARN'T !!!!!!!!!

I am trying not to yell at the employees... :)
