One of those days...

I am having one of those days...

One of those days that makes me just want to stick a fork in a cube of butter, and a spoon in the sugar bowl.

I guess I am a stress eater.

And I guess my stress boils down to this:

What if who you are and who you want to be are miles apart??

And what if the people you love, don't love you, or write you off as not worth their time?

What if you know the right thing to do, but you can't seem to get it right? No matter how hard you try, or how much you want to do it??

What if people make a mock of you, either behind your back, or to your face? Do you crumble? Do you fight back?

And what if you feel this way, and you try and tell others, but they just shut you down?

Most of the time when I feel this way, I go to bed. But it's only 11:41 AM.

Don't worry, folks...As Mom says, "this, too, shall pass."

But sometimes it feels like it is stepping on me as it does.

you know... we have talked about this before... :)

You are awesome! And these feelings will pass :) I know that it is hard - I know you can pull yourself through - you come from a long line of very strong women :)

Just so you feel better about the whole stick a fork in a tub of butter... I've just spent the past two hours eating chips and salsa and chocolate chips with peanut butter. No, it was not the WHOLE two hours but for the most part here and there!! There... now you feel better right?

I also wanted you to know that when I write in my Tender Mercies blog I think of my family - specifically my beautiful sisters. I hope today's post and all the others that I plan to write about the "HEART" help you find comfort and peace.

You are AWESOME! and I love you very much :)

I so get this. Does it help at all to know that you aren't alone in these feelings? Here's a big hug for you {{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}

I see. So, think about your sisters, but forget about your brothers? Thanks a bunch!!

How do you polish a diamond? the only thing that can cut or scratch or smooth a diamond is a diamond. To polish you (a diamond in the rough), you need diamond-like hard experiences.

Yeah, usually I feel that way when I'm tired. But not always. Sometimes, things just hurt. Sometimes, life's just hard. I've asked myself all those same questions it seems, and answered differently from time to time also. Knowing it will pass isn't a great consolation for an impatient person like me! Now, NOW, please just pass NOW! But maybe that's the point. Maybe it's what we learn from the process.
