Pajama Day

You know those days when you just don't want to change your clothes? And you just want to curl up in bed and let the world just do its thing, and you want it to leave you alone, and perhaps tilt a little so the sun doesn't shine into your window?

Yeah...

Today is one of those...

Today...is a Pajama Day.

Or it should have been. I wore my pajamas to the park, but then I decided (against nature) to run errands...so I put on real clothes. Or rather, the only clothes that fit me that AREN'T pajamas. And that's not much. So if you see me wearing the same outfit all the time, now you know why.

I went to the library and ended up taking the random books my children snatched off the shelves home (I didn't even know there WAS a picture book on Earth that was about vultures. Seems a bit morbid.).

I went to Wal-Mart where I ran into Mom and Dad and for some reason couldn't help myself but follow Mom around (Sorry, Mom. I really couldn't help myself. It's like I was sucked into your orbit.) with the kids freaking out asking for treats, crackers, and attention (mostly from Mom, whom Eva kept calling Papa.).

Why didn't I listen?
Why didn't I heed the call of the mighty Pajama Day?

Pajama Days don't come very often. Make sure you use yours wisely when you get one. And don't get out of bed.

Pajama Days just aren't the same once you become a mother. However, I should have more of them.

Pajama days are best when you're snowed in... then you have even more reason to be inside and cozy.

When you yield to pajama day, do it without apology. If someone comes to the door, don't act embarrassed or sheepish or guilty. Glory in it! :D
