Goodnight Moon

It started out like this:

"In the great green room, there was a Joshua, and a red balloon..."
Joshua laughed.

"NO! That's silly!"

"Oh, sorry, telephone...and a picture of Eva jumping over the moon..."
"NO!! COW!"

"Oh sorry...And there were three little monsters sitting in chairs..."
More laughing.

"And a little toy house, and a young mouse..."
Baited breath...

"And two little puppies and a pair of socks..."
"NOOO!"

"Sorry...and two little kittens and a pair of mittens...and a comb and brush and a bowl full of mush, and a little old Eva who was whispering..."
"NO! Old lady!"
"Hush..."

"Goodnight room...Goodnight moon...goodnight cow jumping over the moon..."
Joshua looked sideways at Jeremy.

"Goodnight light and the red Joshua."
Giggles.

"Goodnight rats..."
"NOOO!"
"Oh, sorry...goodnight kittens..."

Ah, I am so glad that Jeremy isn't a dud.
