Tiny Voices

I have a noise chameleon: she can moo, roar, growl, and meow. When Eva woke up this morning, I went into her room and she started meowing. It was super cute!

She has also discovered "no."

*Eyeroll*

But at least she isn't horrible with it. We are still trying to get Joshua to stop doing his whiney "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Some day...Some day.....
Eva seems to think saying it is funny.

"No, no, no, no!" She says sweetly.

She got into a shouting match with Joshua today (don't worry, it was all in good fun!).

"NO!" Eva said.

"YES!" Replied Joshua.

"NO!"
"YES!"
"NO!"
"YES!"

And it all ended in laughing. Ah, it is nice when they get along!

I find it hard to think of my kids growing up. I can't wrap my head around it!
At the same time, it is nice to see that Joshua is learning to listen. During conference, he would randomly shout out, in the form of a question, different words he heard.

"REPENT?!" "THE HOLY GHOST?!"

He spent a good chunk of conference perched on the couch watching the speakers. I was surprised! He probably got more out of it than I did... :)

At his age he is still a sponge (learning all the time). He UNDOUBTEDLY soaked in all kinds of wonderful things! Even when he was still a baby, I remember him standing stalk still and staring at the TV when the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was on.

I forgot about that! I am glad you reminded me. :)
Funny Joshua! My 19 month old daughter also loves saying no. It means many many different things, I've noticed.
