Bad idea. When kangaroo mommies give birth, their babies are very tiny. The pouch is a kind of external womb, where they stay for a long long time. By the time you give birth in 9 months, I don't think you really want to have baby in a pouch 24/7. Ouch!

If you had ever seen the inside of a kangaroo pouch, I don't think you (as a neat-freak) would like it too much... baby kangaroos eat, sleep, excrete and who knows what else in there... do baby kangaroos spit up? No... I think the man-made pouches are much better. :P

We humans have been doing this for quite some time. Native Americans used what is called a papoos...
I personally prefer the baby carrier - Victor.... :)
