Error! Error!

I sometimes wish I had a reset button. If I happen to wake up and have a crappy attitude, *BOOP!* reset!

Today I needed a reset button...I still need a reset button...

My programing today indicated that I needed to be cranky at EVERYTHING....EVERYTHING...for no particular reason (maybe I have a virus...or spyware...). I took Joshua and Eva to play basketball with Jenny, and Joshua was being...disobedient...and so I decided that his punishment would be to sit on the gym floor the whole time. Usually his head-strong nature doesn't phase me, but sheesh...today was not a good day...ERROR! ERROR! REE REE REE!

It sort of reminds me of my own computer. Sometimes it decides it doesn't want to load up Yahoo! or doesn't want to let me open multiple tabs. And sometimes it doesn't want to shut off and so I have to unplug it to make it stop. And sometimes, when I try to make my computer better by deleting superfluous files, it won't let me. "Sorry!" it says. "I am going to keep that for no reason whatsoever, except to bug the CRAP out of you," followed by a mechanical chuckle.

Perhaps my computer and I were cut from the same cloth. Dad is a computer geek, after all, and it stands to reason that part of him melded with one of his computers (probably that old Commodore 64) much like the Borg. Unfortunately, reset buttons don't seem to be a dominant gene, so I am out of luck ("Can you hear me?? I need a new battery!"). The only thing that seems to work is sleep...I suppose that is like a computer hibernating.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a spyware-virus-free day....Whiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....clank...Whiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...clank....

I could definitely use a reset button! My poor kids get the brunt of my stupid moods all too often...oh and my husband too.

EVERONE would have to have a reset button. After you reset yours, you'd have to reset your kids' and your husband's and your neighbors' and your relatives' and all the rude people at the Mall and ... you get the picture. Gives a whole new dimension to "pushing someone's buttons" . . . LOL

spardat-- what you say when you reset someone else's button
