The 15-Second Kiss

I was browsing websites when I came across an intriguing article: The 15-second Kiss Experiment.

Since I'm always up for anything that involves kissing Jeremy (save for when I have a stuffy-nose, since it's like trying to breath underwater, what with my deviated septum and all...), I quickly read through it, a giant grin slapped on my face.

After I was through, I looked around for Jeremy. I then remembered it was three in the afternoon and he was at work, since, you know, we have to eat. Not all of us can sit around and read articles on the internet mid-afternoon everyday.

Yeah.

Anyway, when Jeremy got home, I pranced up to him, and gave him the condensed version of the article. It went something like this:

"Hey, I read this article about kissing for 15-seconds and how it turns us into unicorns!"

He looked at me through squinted eyes.

"Yeeeaahhh?"

I shifted my weight and sighed.

"Well, not really, but it will make our marriage magical like unicorns..so, it's not much of a stretch."

He gave me a doubtful face as he unloaded his lunchbox.

"Oh, come on! It's like your dream come true!"

"Well, okay..."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and planted my pucker on his, and tried not to giggle hysterically.

"1, 2, 3..." I began mentally.

"Four, five, six," I spelled out, as this kiss seemed to be taking forever, and I was struggling to breath through my tiny nostrils. Jeremy squeezed me tighter, clearly having a good time.

"SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE..." I shouted in my head. "TEN, ELEVEN, TWELVE!"

"THIRTEEN!" I gasped.

"FOURTEEN!" My arms were waving frantically.

"FIFTEEN!" And I broke free.

And there it was.

We were unicorns.

It only lasted about three minutes, but we made sure we threw up rainbows before it wore off. The kitchen was a mess, but it was worth it.

In the short amount of time that we've started doing the 15-second kiss, it's already become part of our daily life.

You should try it.

There's nothing like being a unicorn.

No, this is not a two-headed unicorn that's in love with itself....
