Twelve years ago, Savannah introduced me to Jeremy.

I laid it on thick.

Apparently it wasn't thick enough, since my initial attempted to bait and snare him failed miserably, and I felt completely and totally deflated.

I think I got a polite nod, and a disinterested smile. My ego heart was shattered.

Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle the pieces went on the floor, followed by the crunch, crunch, crunch as Jeremy unceremoniously tromped on the bits as he left.

I came to find out later that he had a girlfriend, and I felt a little better.

That first introduction led to a year of friendship which was nice. We both dated other people, and we talked to each other about our relationships. It was great until it was annoying, since I kept secretly hoping that the girl he was talking to me about was me.

She wasn't.

But, still...

God juggled us and the people we were dating flawlessly, until he dropped the others and only Jeremy and I were left.

He then set us down, and said, "Shoo, shoo...time for you to get married." And we were shoved off together, slightly bewildered, complete with the blank stares and stupid smirks on our faces.

I was thinking about Savannah's challenge to draw up the perfect floor plan for our first home. I got starry-eyed at the thought until I realized something.

I don't care what our house looks like.

With Jeremy I am home.

And that's good enough for me....

...plus a fenced yard.

My dream home has a fenced yard, too. And a really awesome stove/range. Other than that, I have no clue. :D

I think my "dream home" is one that is paid for.

My very own portrait!! I'm flattered!!!

I have my dream home all planned out, down to the paint color and brand of flooring. It's pathetic, I know.

I totally agree! Since moving to Wyoming we have been renting and though it is not the most ideal situation as long as we are together life is ok. After paying mortgage on a home in Idaho I also have to agree with Trillium, my "dream home" would be one that is paid for.
