Wuv...True Wuv...
It was another typical dinner.
The kids were pushing their perfectly good (and tasty) food around their plates.
I was shoveling as much food into my mouth as possible without choking, while Baby wiggled in my filling tummy.
And Jeremy was making UFO sounds while he "magically" floated a tiny elastic hairband in front of Lily, who was concentrating really hard to catch it.
I laughed. Good and hard. It was nice.
That's one of the many reasons I love Jeremy.
The funny part is that I didn't know he would make me laugh so much until after we'd been married for over 6 months.
Because, really, you don't really know a person until you have lived with them, in a tiny fire-trap of a studio apartment off of BYU campus for a year or so, and after making midnight runs to the store to buy sugary cereal in your pajamas. And even then, it always seems like surprises pop up at irregular intervals.
Yesterday, Jeremy and I were talking about a movie we had watched, and he queried about the the two stars falling in love, and how they were total opposites, and by golly, how did that work?
I made some stupid remark about opposites attracting, and mumbled something else about who knows what (global warming perhaps...).
Jeremy stopped what he was doing, looked at me and said,
"Then how do you explain us?"
I thought for a minute.
"We're a matching set."
And boy am I glad.

Second, you two do indeed make a perfect match. I love reading about your fun adventures and conversations with each other. Buying cold cereal in your p.j's huh? Sounds fun to me! I love doing things that are a little off and different.
Meanwhile back at the ranch--check on some other opposites (just posted).
Victor and I are opposites; and we are evenly matched.
You will find that the lines get a little blurred after 10 years or even 15... :)
