A whole bunch of "firsts"
Lily is my thirdling. And what a cute little bug she is...
She also had her first popcicle, but I don't have a picture of that. It wasn't messy, anyway. The best part of it was her screaming when Jeremy wasn't fast enough giving it to her. Ha ha ha!
She's getting her firth toofy (FINALLY! I was starting to freak out. When I took her to the doctor for her 6th month visit, he disdainfully remarked, "Hmmm...no teeth..." And that was followed by some snerky-smug comment that she was too skinny. Did he not notice the fat rolls?? Of course I went home and looked up the average of when kids are supposed to get teeth and it ranged--on average--between 1 month and 18 months. Pretty big average.).
I don't recall Josh or Eva being particularly crabby when they were teething, but my little Lily has the patience of a saint.
She won't cry...
She won't crab...
She just sits and sucks her lip with wide eyes looking a wee bit sad...
"What's happening to me?" she seems to ask.
Sniff...
On the brighter side, I gave her an exciting experience:
The mighty Oreo.
What??! She was sad, and dang it, when you have a crying baby at Walmart, you darn well give that baby something to keep them occupied!
She loved every second of it!

Henry is taking forever with his molars.. hopefully he'll be done with them soon.
I love firsts too!!
Allisa on the other hand was a nightmare. We were at Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving and her teeth were coming in... Her gums were swollen and bleeding and she would just scream and cry. I sat on the kitchen floor with her in my arms crying with her because I didn't know what else to do for her.... :(
Firsts are fun. Some you will remember forever - others you will forget unless you write them down. :)
