Don't pop my balloon

Mood swings...need I say more? Yes...Yes, I do.

After consuming a large quantity of chocolate last night, I started to get very, very giddy (just ask Emily. She was an eye-witness.). It was okay at first, and I was glad to be happy for a change, instead of my usual crabby self. Our realtor came over, and I exclaimed really loud at one point, "I AM REALLY HYPER!" He laughed, and then quickly changed the subject. "Clean cup! Move down..."

As I was floating along in my euphoria balloon enjoying the all-too-entertaining, and for some reason, extremely funny scenery, I failed to notice I was heading for a big, pointy tree.

And that is where I popped and landed and I have been living in the Crappy Attitude Tree all day long without a clue as how to get out (kind of like when Tigger got stuck in the tree after bouncing too high and his tail got in the way...but I don't have a tail...whatever.).

My poor children...

"Mommy, can I have a glass of milk?"

"NO! Leave me alone..."

Even the usual, cute silliness of Eva not wanting to take a nap grated on my frayed, popped balloon pieces and I said, a little too sternly, "You are NAUGHTY!" Which resulted in two big, blue eyes welling up with tears and a big pouty lip.

Sigh...Only a few more months...Hopefully I will be able to lay aside my bi-polar pregnancy tendencies and be relatively normal instead of a psycho, neurotic spaz.

Not to pop your current bubble, but postpartum moods aren't that great either... plus adjusting for another little soul to take care of...
