Just step a little closer...
I was sitting on my couch reading a magazine. Eva was in her room, playing with toys, by the sound of it, and after a few minutes, she walked around the corner carrying a box as big as her. She placed it on the ground, and tried to remove the lid.
Knowing she couldn't do it herself, and knowing she really wanted what was inside, I quietly invited her to come to me and I would open the box. She instantly picked up the box, and clumsily brought it to me, stumbling a little. I opened the box, and she began to put the toys on the couch next to me so she could play where I was.

It made me think.
How often do we struggle with life, and have things we want, or desperately need, but don't know how to get them?
And how often does Heavenly Father quietly ask us to come to Him so He can open our box of infinate possibilities?
And how often do we listen right away, and come, without doubt? And, if we are so wise as to listen, how many of us place ourselves beside Him with what He has given us and bask in His light?
I think that is what the scriptures mean by becoming a little child. Eva didn't hesitate. She trusted me to help her, because she has always had my help. And she wanted to be with me because she knows I love her.
I think we forget time to time that Heavenly Father will always help us and He loves us. He looks for every opportunity to bless us, if we would just let Him. Think of our potential if we were to take His hand?
